NOES: None <br />~j- ABSENT: Councilman Kephart <br /> <br /> MEETI~iG OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> No one in the audience addressed the Chair. <br /> <br /> PUBLIC EEARINGS <br /> Appeal of Ronald Fiorio to a decision of the Board of Adjustment denT.in~.Case <br /> V-7..8-6~ a va.riance from the site requirements of the Code to allow the con- <br /> struction of an addition to a residence located at 3247 Royalton Court which <br /> would encroach into the required rear 7ard and be less than the minimum dis- <br /> tance to the main structure on the adjacent lot <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report dated June 16, 1978, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> Mr. Ronald Fiorio, appellant, 3247 Royalton Court, stated he needed a larger <br /> house and the only way to expand was by adding a second story. He presented a <br /> petition to the City Council signed by all the residents on Royalton Court and <br /> three residents living behind his dwelling, in support of approval of the var- <br /> iance. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this appeal. <br /> <br /> There being no further public testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public <br /> hearing closed. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved By Mayor Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember <br /> Wood, that the public hearing be reopened on the appeal of Ronald Fiorio to a <br /> decision of the Board of Adjustment denying Case V-78-6, a variance from the site <br /> requirements of the Code to allow the construction of an addition to a residence <br /> located at 3247 Royalton Court which would encroach into the required rear yard <br /> and be less than the minimum distance to the main structure on the adjacent lot, <br /> Be continued to the meeting of July 11, 1978, 8:00 P.M., Pleasanton Council <br /> Chambers, for full Council attendance. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows:..- <br /> AYES: Councilmen Brandes, Butler, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilman Kephart <br /> <br /> Mr. Fiorio agreed to the continuance. <br /> <br /> 2. 6/27/78 <br /> <br /> <br />
