3 6 After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that Ordinance No. 851, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, rezontng approximately 12.08 acres of land located along the extension of ~irwood Drive between Alderwood Court and Lemonwood Way to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) District and approving a development plan for medium density residential on the site, adding Condi- tion 15 and modifying Conditions 10 and 11, as recommended by the Director of Planning and Community Development, and amending the Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton accordingly (Zoning Unit Map #172), be re-introduced. REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER LAVI~IA Cash Flow Requirements during Pipeline Construction Mr. Walker presented his report dated April 26, 1978, regarding this matter~ After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, that Resolution No. 78-121, approving that effective July 1, 1978, a surcharge be added to the sewer service charges to insure that the City has the funds available to meet the LAVWMA cash flow requirements during construction of the pipeline, as follows: (1) Each residential unit - $1.15 per month, and (2) Other users - 20% of sewer service charge, be adopted. Mrs. Olga Morrow, 4593 Del Valle Parkway, representing Pleasanton Safe Streets Association, stated that even though a compromise settlement had been reached, this group did not feel the safety issue had been resolved and they intended to requ&st that a complete study be made regarding this matter. 7. 5/9/78
