365, <br /> <br />Application of the City Council for an amendment to Section 2-7.08(a)~ Arti~l~ 8~ <br />ChaPter .~L Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton~ which would <br />revise, comprehensively~ the schedule of permitted and conditional uses in all of <br />the commercially zoned districts of the City. of Pleasanton <br />(Continued Open from 3-28-78) <br /> Mayor Hercer declared the continued open public hearing on this item continued <br />to the meeting of June 13, 1978, 8:00 P.M., Pleasanton Council Chambers. <br /> <br />Appeal of Frank C. Brandes~ Jr., of a decision of the Planning Commission and <br />Design Review BOard app. roVi.ng Cases UP-78-6 and Z-78-42, applications for a <br />Conditional Use Permit and design review for a service station proposed for <br />the 1.1 acre site located at the northwest corner of the intersection of tIqp~ <br />.yard Road and Johnson Industrial Drive <br /> <br />Appeal of Wickland Oil Company of Two Conditions imposed by the Plannin~ Com- <br />mission on Cases UP-78-6 and Z-78-42 <br /> ~layor Mercer stated he would abstain from any discussion or decision on these <br />items because of Conflict of Interest. Mayor Mercer turned the conduct of the <br />meeting over to Vice Mayor Brandes. <br /> <br /> Vice Mayor Brandes stated this item was to consider his appeal of the <br />decision of the Planning Commission and Design Review Board for a proposed <br />service station by Wickland Oil Company. <br /> <br /> Mr. Harris stated that the appeal of Wickland Oil Company regarding two of <br />the conditions imposed by the Planning Commission on the application should also <br />be heard at this time. <br /> <br /> Mr. Lee Amaral, Attorney representing Wickland Oil Company, requested a con- <br />tinuance of this item as he had been out of town on a Court case and was unable <br />to prepared for this presentation. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Vice Mayor Brandes, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Butler, to open the public hearing and continue the appeal of <br />Frank C. Brandes, Jr., of a decision of the Planning Conmission and Design <br />Review Board approving Cases UP-78-6 and Z-78-42, applications for a Condi- <br />tional Use Permit and design review for a service station proposed for the <br />1.1 acre site located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Hopyard <br />Road and Johnson Industrial Drive, and to open the public hearing and continue <br />the appeal of Wickland Oil Company of two conditions imposed by Planning Com- <br />mission on these same cases, to the meeting of May 23, 1978, 8:00 P.M., in the <br />Pleasanton Council Chambers. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Butler, Kephart, ~bod, and Vice }iayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAINED:Mayor Mercer <br /> <br /> Vice Mayor Brandes turned the chairmanship of the meeting back to Mayor <br />Mercer. <br /> <br /> CONTINUED FRO~i EARLIER IN TIlE }IEETING <br /> Review of a negative declaration for a commercial complex to be located at <br /> 201 Main Street <br /> <br /> 5. 5/9/78 <br /> <br /> <br />
