45z <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Butler, that Resolution No. 78-118, determining, on the basis of <br />a review of initial environmental study done for this project, that no signifi- <br />cant environmental impact would occur as outlined in the City's guidelines and <br />that a Negative Declaration is appropriate to rezone approximately 60 acres of <br />land located between Crellin Road and the City Limit line at the end of Arbor <br />Drive from the R-1-6500 and R-i-20,000 (Single Family Residential) Districts to <br />the PUD (Planned Unit Development), be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Brandes, Butler, Kephart, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, <br />that Ordinance No. 853, to be read by title only and waiving further reading <br />thereof, to rezoae approximately 60 acres of land located between Crellin Road <br />and the City Limit line at the end of Arbor Drive from the R-1-6500 and R-1- <br />20~000 (Single Family Residential) Districts to PUD (Planned Unit Development), <br />and amending the Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton accordingly, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Brandes, Butler, Kephart, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Review of a negative declaration for a commercial complex to be located at 201 <br />Main Street <br /> <br />~pplication of Merle Telford for design review for a commercial complex to be <br />located at 201 Main Street .immedi.at.e.17 north of the old Post Office Building; <br />zoning for the p~op.erty is C-C/C-O (Central Commercial/Civic OverlaX~..pistrict <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report dated April 26, 1978, regarding this matter. <br />He stated that Condition No. 5 of Planning Commission Resolution No. 1634, was <br />unclear and should read "that on the South side of Building B, and on the North <br />and South side of Building A, the wood trim should be continued and be covered <br />with stucco". <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on the negative declaration <br />and the application. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed on the negative declaration <br />and the application. <br /> <br /> Council discussion ensued regarding a condition to require a fire sprinkler <br />system in the buildings. Council stated they would like to discuss this matter <br />with the applicant.
