The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Kephart, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />~TTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> There were no matters continued for decision presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />SPECIAL REPORTS <br /> There were no special reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br />~eports Re: Action Taken by the Planning Commission on Items at their meetings <br />of 4-10-78 and 4-12-78 <br /> Councilmember Brandes stated he would be appealing the decision of the <br />Planning Commission regarding Skateworld's modification request relative to <br />content of the Hold harmless agreement and insurance requirements of Condition <br />11 of Skateworld's use permit. The Planning Commission action limited the <br />coverage of the hold harmless after concluding it was only a minor revision <br />to the Conditional Use Permit. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY}LA}~GER <br />Determination of Units under the Residential Allocation ProK~m <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report dated April 19, 1978, regarding this matter. <br />He stated this item should be open for public comment. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> Ms. Joy Robertson, representing the League of Women Voters, stated it was <br />her understanding that the 10% allocation for low income housing was outside of <br />the 250 total allocation under the Residential Allocation Program. <br /> <br /> There being no further public testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public <br />hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes that allocations be granted as <br />established so that the total allocations allowed be set at 275 with 10% <br />additional set aside for low income housing. <br /> <br /> After discussion, Councilmember Brandes withdrew his motion. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Butler suggested the allocation of a total of 275 development <br />units. <br /> <br /> After further discussion, it was moved by Mayor Mercer, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Wood, that Resolution Noo 78-104, approving the Report of the <br />Director of Planning and Community Development dated April 19, 1978, for <br />the yearly allocation under the Residential Allocation Program, and establish- <br />ing Method #1 to allocate units as follows: <br /> <br /> Allocate 250 DU <br /> Set aside = 10% 25 DU <br /> Available for non-lower <br /> income developers 225 DU <br /> Total units capable of <br /> development 250 DU <br /> <br /> 8. 4/25/78 <br /> <br /> <br />
