This item was for the information of the <br /> Gity Council; no action was required or taken by Council. <br /> <br /> Matters for the Information of the Council <br /> There were no Matters for the Information of the Council presented at this <br />meet ing. <br /> <br /> REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br /> Report, Re: Possible Litigation against the State relative to West Las Positas <br /> Overcrossing <br /> Mr. Levine stated this item would be reviewed in Executive Session. <br /> <br /> Settlement of Fisher Suit <br /> Mr. Levine advised City Council that the insurance carrier had settled the <br />Fisher suit for the amount of $12,500.00. <br /> <br />City Cases in Litigation <br /> Mr. Levine presented a list of City cases pending at the present time for <br /> the information of the Council. <br /> <br />CO~,R{UNICATIONS <br /> There were no Communications presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> There were no City Council Committee Reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL MEMBERS <br /> Councilmember Wood requested that the Ambulance Company be advised not to <br />park the ambulance on the street at their residence at 4195 Francisco Street. <br />He was advised this had already been done. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Wood asked as to who would notify the various Boards, Commissions, <br />and Committees of the new City Council assignments. Mayor Mercer requested each <br />Councilmember to advise the appropriate agencies of their appointments. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Wood stated that the bookmobile and mobile health care programs <br />for Senior Citizens were in jeopardy because of a dispute between Alameda County <br />and the State Department of Aging. He requested Council to urge Assemblyman <br />Mori and Governor Brown to restore funding for these services as soon as possible. <br /> <br /> 6. 3/28/78 <br /> <br /> <br />
