66-acre parcel of land located between the Youth Sports Park and the Arroyo <br />Mocho immediately east of Hopyard Road from "Parks and Recreation" to '~edium <br />Density Residehtial", to the meeting of April 25, 1978, 8:00 P.M. Pleasanton <br />Council Chambers, and instructed staff to meet with property owner or repre- <br />sentatives to discuss with property owner alternatives regarding the subject <br />property. It was further moved that the Mayor appoint two Councilmembers to <br />attend these meetings, to be scheduled as soon as possible. No commitment to <br />property owner being made or implied by agreeing to the request for continuance. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember LeClaire <br /> <br />Mr. M~{anus stated he agreed to the continuance, but requested a decision <br />be made on April-25, 1978. <br /> <br /> Mayor Philcox appointed Councilmembers Brandes and Mercer as City Council <br />representatives to meet with Mr. M~{anus and City staff regarding this matter. <br /> <br />Application of the Flanning Commission for an amendment to Section 2-7.21(1) <br />of Article 9~ Chapter 2~ Title IX of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasan- <br />ton, Nhich wo~ld permit restaurants including "entertainment" as conditioneliX <br />allowed uses in the I-P (Industrial Park) and I-G (General Industrial) Districts <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report dated February 7, 1978, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Philcox declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> Mayor Philcox declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, <br />that Ordinance No. 845, to be read by title only and waiving further reading <br />thereof, amending Subsection l(c) of Section 2-7.21 (Conditional Uses) of Article <br />9 (I Industrial Districts), Chapter 2 (Zoning), Title II (Zoning and Development) <br />of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton relating to restaurants and soda <br />fountains in I-P (Industrial Park) and I-G (General Industrial) Districts, be <br />introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember LeClaire <br /> <br />Appeal of Robert J. Myers to a decision of the PlanninS Commission denying <br />PUD-77-7., an application for a planned unit development to rezone a 12.7 acre <br />site located immediately south of the terminus of Las Lomitas Drive and east <br />of the Pleasanton School from the A (Agricultural) District to the PUD (Planned <br />Unit Development Medium DensitX Residential) District and to approve a develop~ <br />ment plan for the site consisting of a ll9-unit limited care retirement facility <br /> Mr. Brown presented a letter from Robert J. Myers dated January 19, 1978, <br />requesting this item be continued to February 28, 1978, for full Council attend- <br />ance. <br /> <br /> 3. 2/15/78 <br /> <br /> <br />
