66-acre parcel of land located between the Youth Sports Park and the Arroyo Mocho immediately east of Hopyard Road from "Parks and Recreation" to '~edium Density Residehtial", to the meeting of April 25, 1978, 8:00 P.M. Pleasanton Council Chambers, and instructed staff to meet with property owner or repre- sentatives to discuss with property owner alternatives regarding the subject property. It was further moved that the Mayor appoint two Councilmembers to attend these meetings, to be scheduled as soon as possible. No commitment to property owner being made or implied by agreeing to the request for continuance. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox NOES: None ABSENT: Councilmember LeClaire Mr. M~{anus stated he agreed to the continuance, but requested a decision be made on April-25, 1978. Mayor Philcox appointed Councilmembers Brandes and Mercer as City Council representatives to meet with Mr. M~{anus and City staff regarding this matter. Application of the Flanning Commission for an amendment to Section 2-7.21(1) of Article 9~ Chapter 2~ Title IX of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasan- ton, Nhich wo~ld permit restaurants including "entertainment" as conditioneliX allowed uses in the I-P (Industrial Park) and I-G (General Industrial) Districts Mr. Harris presented his report dated February 7, 1978, regarding this matter. Mayor Philcox declared the public hearing open. No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to this item. Mayor Philcox declared the public hearing closed. It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, that Ordinance No. 845, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, amending Subsection l(c) of Section 2-7.21 (Conditional Uses) of Article 9 (I Industrial Districts), Chapter 2 (Zoning), Title II (Zoning and Development) of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton relating to restaurants and soda fountains in I-P (Industrial Park) and I-G (General Industrial) Districts, be introduced. Myers to a decision of the PlanninS Commission denying PUD-77-7., an application for a planned unit development to rezone a 12.7 acre site located immediately south of the terminus of Las Lomitas Drive and east of the Pleasanton School from the A (Agricultural) District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development Medium DensitX Residential) District and to approve a develop~ ment plan for the site consisting of a ll9-unit limited care retirement facility Mr. Brown presented a letter from Robert J.
