Albert to serve as a member on the <br />Housing Authority Board, to fill the expired seat of Penny Deleray, said term <br />to expire January 25, 1983, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Brandes, Butler, Kephart, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, <br />that Resolution No. 78-307, re-appointing Christine Pearson to serve as a <br />member of the Housing Authority Board, said term to expire January 25, 1983, <br />be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Butler, Kephart, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilman Brandes <br />~tSENT: None <br /> <br /> Councilmember Wood wished everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, <br />and expressed his appreciation for the prayers and concern of the citizens <br />during his recent illness. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Wood requested an attendance report of the Councilmembers <br />on the various boards and commissions of which they are liaison members. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer inquired as to the status of completion of the signal light <br />at Santa Rita Road and West Las Positas. Mr. Campbell advised that there <br />vas a delay in delivery of the controller and that he would follow up on this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer inquired as to the disposition of surplus City vehicles. Mr. <br />Brown advised these vehicles had been offered to Wholesalers and retailers, <br />and were now out to bid to the public with a closing bid date of December 28. <br /> <br /> ~yor Mercer stated that the Park and Recreation Commission, at their last <br />meeting, requested that a minimum amount of the approximately $201,000.00 grant <br />funds be expended for engineering services in order that the maximum amount may <br />be used for development of the Youth Sports Park. <br /> <br /> 3. 12/19/78 <br /> <br /> <br />
