After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Kephart, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Brandes, instructing staff to submit to LAFCO the necessary <br />material for the annexation of all unincorporated County territory on both <br />sides of Stanley Boulevard between Main Street and First Street, known as <br />Annexation No. 73. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Brandes, Butler, Kephart, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, <br />that during the processing of the annexation application by LAFCO, that the <br />City poll the property owners being affected by the proposed annexation to <br />determine their desires for zoning of said property, if annexation is approved. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Brandes, Butler, Kephart, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Adoption of Ordinance No. 871, rezoning. three parcels of land located in the <br />Mission Park area: a 4 acre lot located on the south side of Junipero Street <br />~idway between Sunol Boulevard and Sonoma Drive to be rezoned from RM-1500 <br />(Hultiple-Family Residential - 1500 sq.. ft... per unit) District to the RM-4000 <br />(~[u!tip.le-Famil~ Residential - 4000 sq. ft. per unit) District~ a 2.5 acre <br />lot located on the south side of JuniDero Street at Sunol Boulevard to be re- <br />zoned from the R-1-6500 (Sing.l.e~amily Residential) District to the S (Study) <br />District; and a 1/2 acre lot located at the southwest corner of Sonoma Drive <br />and San Carlos ~y from the P~I-1500 District to the R14-4,000 District,. and <br />amendinB the ZoniRg Map of the City of Pleasanton accor.dinglX <br />(introduced 11-14-7.p~ 3 Ayes, 1 No,..~nd 1 Absent) <br /> Mayor Mercer stated that Ordinance No. 871 was introduced on November 14, <br />1978, by a vote of 3-Ayes, 1-No, and l~bsent, and that it was now in order to <br />adopt the ordinance. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Butler stated that he had reviewed Ordinance No. 871, due to <br />his absence from the meeting of November 14, 1978, and was prepared to vote on <br />this item. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, <br />that Ordinance No. 871, rezoning three parcels of land located in the Mission Park <br />area: a 4 acre lot located on the south side of Junipero Street midway between <br />Sunol Boulevard and Sonoma Drive to be rezoned from RM-1500 (Multiple-Family <br />Residential - 1500 sq. ft. per unit) District to the P~i-4000 (Multiple-Family <br />Residential - 4000 sq. ft. per unit) District; a 2.5 acre lot located on the <br />south side of Junipero Street at Sunol Boulevard to be rezoned from the R-1-6500 <br />(Single-Family Residential) District to the S (Study) District; and a 1.2 acre <br />lot located at the southwest corner of Sonoma Drive and San Carlos Way from the <br />R~i-tSO0 District to the RM-4,000 District, and amending the Zoning Map of the <br />City of Pleasanton accordingly, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Brandes, Butler, Kephart, and Wood <br />NOES: Mayor Mercer <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> 7. 12/5/7s <br /> <br /> <br />
