The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Brandes, Kephart, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilman Butler <br /> <br /> ~r~posed }Iodification to Ordinance No. 367 - Pinball ~achines <br /> Mr. Brown presented his report dated November 8, 1978, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Councilme~ber Brandes abstained from participation on this item due to Con- <br /> flict of Interest. <br /> <br /> ~Ir. Phil Woltz, 573 Malbec, stated that he and Brian Nixon were interested <br /> in opening a family fun center to have 25 electronic game machines, and re- <br /> quested that Ordinance No. 367 be modified to delete the under 18 year old <br /> age restriction. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Council- <br /> member Kephart, directing staff to study the matter of conditional use permits for <br /> pinball and electronic game machine establishments and prepare a report for review <br /> by the Council, and to not act on the repeal of Ordinance No. 367 until the use <br /> permit report is considered. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Kephart, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilman Butler <br /> ABSTAINED:Councitmember Brandes <br /> <br /> Dumping of Holding Tanks at Sunol Boulevard Treatment Plant <br /> Mr. Bro~.~ presented his report dated November 9, 1978, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by <br /> Councilmember Kephart, that Resolution No. 78-284, authorizing Tri-Valley Pump- <br /> ing Service to be allowed to dispose of holding tank effluent at the City's <br /> Sunol Plant providing all effluent is from holding tanks in Pleasanton; the <br /> per gallon charge should be set at one cent with the provision that Tri-Valley <br /> Pumping Service may not charge more than the one cent per gallon; and that the <br /> City Manager be authorized to establish regulations regarding the disposal of <br /> holding tank effluent at t~e Sunol Plant, be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Brandes, Kephart, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilman Butler <br /> <br /> Peters Avenue Sewer L~ne P~yment <br /> Mr. Campbell presented his report dated October 24, 1978, regarding this <br /> matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Ron Andersen, 1253 Aaron Street, Livermore, stated he concurred with the <br /> staff report and recommendation. <br /> <br />.... It was moved by Mayor Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, that <br /> Resolution No. 78-285, approving and amending the agreement for reimbursement <br /> of costs by property owners for construction of Sanitary Sewer in Peters Avenue, <br /> and amending the budget accordingly, be adopted. <br /> <br /> 9. 11/14/78 <br /> <br /> <br />
