Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed. fter discussion, Council concluded that the piece of property is not needed for present or prospective public street purposes, and that an order shall be made vacating the public easement in the subject portion of the street and re- turning the title of the land to the previous owner. it was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that Resolution No. 78-267, ordering the vacation of that portion of Northway Road, more particularly described on Exhibit A and shown on Exhibit B attached to the report of the City Attorney dated October 5, 1978, and authorizing the appropriate City officials to quit claim said property to Morrison Homes, a Delaware Corporation, be adopted. REPORT~ OF BO.M{DS AN'O COMMISSIONS Report of the Park and Recreation Commtssion} Re.: ~.ark Land In Lieu Fees l~yor Mercer reviewed the report of the City Attorney dated july 19, 1978, and stzEed the Park and Recreation Commission concurred with the conclusions and reconnnendations of the City Attorney's report. After discussion, Council instructed the City Attorney to meet with the Planning Commission and Park and Recreation department to prepare a study and General Plan amendment to implement the report of the City Attorney regarding Park Land In Lieu Fees. REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER Request of Oak Hill Homeowners Association to purchase a portion of Oak Hill Park Land Mr. Brown presented his report dated October 4, 1978, regarding this matter. After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, that the request of Oak Hill Homeowners Association to purchase a portion of Oak Hill park land be referred to the Park and Recreation Commission for further review and a recommendation for Council action.
