Adoption of Resolution No. 78-260, approving Freeway Maintenance Agreement- <br /> Route 580 at Foothill-San Ramon Road, and authorizing execution of the con- <br /> tract by the appropriate City officials. <br /> <br />f. Adoption of Resolution No. 78-261, after review of bids awarding Contract for <br /> the construction of Peters Avenue Water Line and Sanitary Sewer Line, Project <br /> No. 78-8, to Raymond J. Haug, 1733 Murdell Lane, Livermore, in the amount of <br /> $38,044.60, and authorizing execution of the Contract by the appropriate City <br /> officials. <br /> <br />g. Adoption of Resolution No. 78-262, proclaiming October 22-28, 1978, as Thank a <br /> Teacher Week. <br /> <br />h. Proclaim October as International Toastmistress Month. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Brandes, Butler, Kephart, and ~yor ~.~ercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSEnt: Councilman <br /> <br />~f~TTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL M~BERS <br /> Councilmember Kephart requested the City Attorney to send a letter to Nunes <br />Company, Patterson, Ca., regarding an abandoned fork lift on Johnson Circle that <br />is creating a traffic hazard. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes asked if all the "No Parking" signs had been installed <br />on Jot~nson Drive. Mr. Campbell advised that all signs had been installed. <br /> <br /> Mayor }.~ercer asked the City Attorney if any legal action could be taken against <br />the d~eloper of Alpha Beta Center to get the fence repaired behind this area. The <br />City A~torney advised he would check into the matter. <br /> <br /> Y~yor Mercer stated that a Vocational Education Class at Amador High School <br />would like to spend time with City crews trimming trees in conjunction with their <br />class assignments. The City ~nager stated he would check on this matter. <br /> <br /> M~yor Mercer reported that he had met with the Mayor of Livermore regarding <br />Speed Lim~.-it Bail Schedule, and that a more comprehensive meeting would be sche- <br />duled as soon as possible regarding this matter. <br /> <br />H. A. Tenant Commissioner Appointments <br /> I.Iayor Mercer stated that Housing Authority tenant commission applicants had <br />been interviewed earlier tonight and that it was now in order to make appointments <br />if the Council so desired. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, <br />that Resolution No. 78-263, appointing George Reineking as the Kottinger tenant <br />representative on the Pleasanton Housing Authority Board, said term to expire <br />May 1, 1980, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Brandes, Butler, Kephart, and ~{ayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Wood <br /> <br /> 2. 10/10/7s <br /> <br /> <br />
