ROLL CALL Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Kephart, and ~yor !Iercer. Councilmember Wood was absent due to illness. Mr. Brown, City Manager, Mr. Levine, City Attorney, }lr. Campbell, Director of Public Works and Utilities, Mr. Harris, Director of Planning and Community Development, Mr. Cullum, Chief Building Inspector, and ~- Klenk, Fire Marshal, were present AGDDA AMENDMENTS Mr. Brown requested the following items be added to the Consent Calendar: it~ 4g - Proclaim October 22-28, 1978, as Thank A Teacher Week. it~ 4i - Proclaim October as International Toastmistress Month. ~ir. Brown advised there would be an Executive Session at the conclusion of this meeting to discuss personnel. ~ONSE2~ CALENDAR I~ was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, as amended thereto, be approved: a. Approve by motion the request of Pleasanton Junior Womens Club to hang a Banner on the l,~in Street Sign to advertise Pleasanton Pumpkin Run, October 22-29, 1978. b. Adoption of Resolution No. 78-257, approving Lease Agreement between City of Pleasanton and Alameda County Fair Association for Tennis Faire, and authorizing execution by the appropriate City officials. c. Adoption of Resolution No. 78-258, approving Agreement between Amador Joint Union School District and Pleasanton School District/City on Community Facilities and Programs, and authorizing execution by the appropriate City officials.
