MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE~IEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> October 10, 1978 <br /> <br />INTOVIEWS FOR HOUSING AUTHORITY TENANT COMMISSIONERS~ AND ONE HUMAN SERVICES <br />COmmISSION APPLICANT <br /> The Mayor and Councilmembers met at 7:00 P.M., to interview the following <br />persons: <br /> <br /> Elizabeth Shepherd (Human Services Commission Applicant) <br /> Marie Caughron (Komandorski Tenant Applicant for Housing Authority Board) <br /> George Reineking (Kottinger Tenant Applicant for Housing Authority Board) <br /> Charles Burdine (Komandorski Tenant Applicant for Housing Authority Board) <br /> <br />C~L TO O~ER - PL~GE TO THE FLAG <br /> Mayor Kenneth ~'~ce <br /> .... r called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order <br />at 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Kephart, and ~yor !Iercer. Councilmember Wood <br />was absent due to illness. Mr. Brown, City Manager, Mr. Levine, City Attorney, <br />}lr. Campbell, Director of Public Works and Utilities, Mr. Harris, Director of <br />Planning and Community Development, Mr. Cullum, Chief Building Inspector, and <br />~- Klenk, Fire Marshal, were present <br /> <br />AGDDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Brown requested the following items be added to the Consent Calendar: <br /> <br />it~ 4g - Proclaim October 22-28, 1978, as Thank A Teacher Week. <br /> <br />it~ 4i - Proclaim October as International Toastmistress Month. <br /> <br /> ~ir. Brown advised there would be an Executive Session at the conclusion of <br />this meeting to discuss personnel. <br /> <br />~ONSE2~ CALENDAR <br /> I~ was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, <br />that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, as amended thereto, be <br />approved: <br /> <br />a. Approve by motion the request of Pleasanton Junior Womens Club to hang a <br /> Banner on the l,~in Street Sign to advertise Pleasanton Pumpkin Run, October <br /> 22-29, 1978. <br /> <br />b. Adoption of Resolution No. 78-257, approving Lease Agreement between City <br /> of Pleasanton and Alameda County Fair Association for Tennis Faire, and <br /> authorizing execution by the appropriate City officials. <br /> <br />c. Adoption of Resolution No. 78-258, approving Agreement between Amador Joint <br /> Union School District and Pleasanton School District/City on Community <br /> Facilities and Programs, and authorizing execution by the appropriate City <br /> officials. <br /> <br /> <br />
