Barbara Hempill, 4508 Eull Court, tIuman Services Commissioner, stated the <br /> programs are considered for funding on their merit of service to the community. <br /> She outlined the basic criteria for approval of the proposals. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, <br /> that item 14 - Pleasanton Downtown Association, be moved to item 1 in rank. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Brandes, Butler, Kephart, and Wood <br /> NOES: }~yor Mercer <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler that item 16 - Ark Childrens Services <br /> (Carpenter-P~ndyman), be moved to item 2 in rank. <br /> <br /> The motion died for lack of a second. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mayor Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that <br /> items 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the staff report remain in the order as presented. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Brandes, Butler, Kephart, Wood, and ~L~yor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> After further discussion, it was moved by Mayor Mercer to table the entire <br /> <br /> The motion died for lack of a second. <br /> <br /> .%~r. Caporusso explained the CETA Title VI proposald had to be presented to <br /> the County on Wednesday, September 13, 1978, (tomorrow) to be eligible for <br /> consideration of funding. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Kephart, and seconded by Mayor Mercer, that <br /> Resolution No. 78-238, approving ranking of CETA Title VI fourth round funding <br /> proposals as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. V l ey Volunteer Bureau - Youth Cou selor/Coordt tor <br /> 5. Hotline, Inc. - Media and Funding Development Specialist <br /> 6. Advocates for Women - Resources Assistant <br /> 7. Tri-Valley Haven for Women - Community Researcher, Caseworker, Secretary <br /> 8. Hotline, Inc. - Family Services Consultant <br /> 9. Southern Alameda County Y.W.C.A. - Womens Program Aide <br />10. Twin Valley Y.M.C.A. - Program Coordinator <br />11. Housing Authority of Alameda County - Housing Service Aide <br />12.
