Application of Mariner Associates No. 4 for Septic Tank Approval for Commercial <br /> Use at 2500 Santa Rita Road <br /> Mr. Campbell presented the report of the Assistant Civil Engineer dated <br /> September 7, 1978, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Council discussion ensued regarding whether a Septic Tank or Holding Tank <br /> would be more appropriate for this commercial development. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Mayor Mercer, that <br /> the request of Mariner Associates No. 4, for Septic Tank for commercial use at <br /> 2500 Santa Rita Road, be denied. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br />" AYES: Councilmen Brandes, Butler, Kephart, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />~.~, NOES: None <br />'Y~ ABSENT: None <br />"D <br />~ Ken Lamb, speaking for Mariner Associates No. 4, stated that a letter had <br /> been sent to City Hall requesting that a Holding Tank Permit be approved if <br /> a Septic Tank was not allowed. <br /> <br /> After further discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded <br /> by Councilmember Butler, that Resolution No. 78-242, approving a Holding Tank <br /> for Mariner Associates No. 4, for a commercial development at 2500 Santa Rita <br /> Road, subject to conditions set forth by staff, be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Brandes, Butler, Kephart, Wood, and bEyor Mercer <br /> .....
