It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, <br />that Resolution No. 78-240, waiving the fees to the Chamber of Commerce and <br />the Foothill High School Band Boosters Club for City expenses incurred related <br />to their parades on September 17 and October 28, 1978, respectively, and to <br />amend the Budget by approximately $1,040.00 ($215.00 for Chamber of Commerce; <br />$825.00 for Foothill High School Band Boosters Club), to cover these costs, be <br />adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Butler, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmen Brandes and Kephart <br />ABSEh~: None <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer recessed the meeting at 11:25 P.M. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer reconvened the meeting at 11:30 P.M. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER (Contd.) <br />Reauest of Gilbert Maines to have PUD-78-1~ Upper Longview exempted from the <br />Residential Allocation Program <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report dated September 6, 1978, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brown presented a letter from Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation dated <br />September 6, 1978, addressed to the Council, requesting that this exemption be <br />allowed. <br /> <br /> Gilbert ~ines, Attorney representing L & H Land Company, developers of this <br />property, requested that PUD-78-1, Upper Longview, be exempt from the Residential <br />Allocation Program in order that the development plan may be processed as a <br />tentative subdivision map.
