It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, <br />that Resolution No. 78-243, approving the 1979 allocation under the Residential <br />Allocation Program as follows: a continuation of the last allocation, a total <br />of 250 D.U.'s and a 75%-25% single-family to multiple residential mix, as shown <br />in the table below; <br /> allocation - 250 units <br /> lower-income allocation (10%): 25 units <br /> market rate allocation (90%): 225 units <br /> single-family allocation (75%): 169 units <br /> multiple allocation (25%): 56 units <br /> available for exceptional projects (15%): 38 units <br /> <br />be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Brandes, Butler, Kephart, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br />Report Re: DoS. Defecation Ordinance <br />(Contd. from 8-29-78) <br /> Mr. Levine presented his report dated August 22, 1978, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Council requested that Seeing Eye Dogs be exempt from the regulations of <br />this ordinance. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Mayor Mercer, to <br />read the title of this ordinance and waive further reading thereof. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Brandes, Butler, Kephart, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSEIrr: None <br /> <br /> Council discussion ensued regarding the merits of having such an ordinance <br />and the ability of the City to enforce it. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by.Mayor' Mercer, that an <br />ordinmmce adding Chapter 4-5.25 (Canine Defecation) to Article 3, Chapter 3, <br />Title IV, and amending Section 1-1.11 of Chapter 1, Title I, to make violation <br />of certain sections of the Ordinance Code infractions, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilman Wood and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmen Brandes, Butler, and Kephart <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />ppinion of Use of Park Dedication Fees <br />(Continued from 7-25-78 and 8-29-78) <br /> Mayor Mercer requested this item be referred to the Park and Recreation <br />Commission for their review and recommendation.
