A neSative de- <br />claration of environmental impact will also be considered <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report dated August 22, 1978, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> ~yor Mercer declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, <br />that Resolution No. 78-219, determining on the basis of a review of initial <br />environmental study done for this project, that no significant environmental <br /> Cit ' <br />impact would occur as outlined in the y s guidelines and that a Negative <br />Declaration is appropriate to fezone the approximately thirty-two acre site <br />located immediately north of the Western Pacific Railroad tracks and west of <br />Valley Avenue Extension from the PUD (Industrial) to the I-G-40,000 District, <br />be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Brandes, Butler, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmen Kephart and Wood <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, <br />that Ordinance No. 861, to be read by title only and waiving further reading <br />thereof, to rezone the approximately thirty-two acre site located immediately <br />north of the Western Pacific Railroad tracks and west of Valley Avenue Extension <br />from the PUD (Industrial) to the I-G-40,000 District, and amending the Zoning Map <br />of the City of Pleasanton accordingly, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Brandes, Butler, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmen Kephart and Wood <br /> <br />Application of John Amaral for a ~eneral plan amendment from High Density Resi- <br />denti'al to Commercial and Offices for the property located at 404 St. Ma. ry <br />Street. A negative declaration of environmental impact will also be considered <br /> [~yor Mercer declared the public hearing open on this item and continued to <br />the meeting of October 3, 1978, 8:00 P.M., Pleasanton Council Chambers, at the <br />request of the applicant by telephone this date. <br /> <br />Application of the Planning Commission for initiation and rezoning for the two <br />and one-third acre site located between 2776 and 2818 Foothill Road from the <br />HPD to the R-l-40 District. A negative declaration of environmental impact <br />will also be considered <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report dated August 22, 1978, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> Mike Peel, 7898 Oak Creek Drive, representing Ralph Romero, urged City <br />Council approval of this application. <br /> <br /> No one spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further public testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public <br />hearing closed. <br /> <br /> 6. 8/29/78 <br /> <br /> <br />
