The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Kephart, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Butler <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that <br />Ordinance No. 887, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, <br />to prezone a one-acre parcel of land located at 6248 Amber Lane to the R-i-40,000 <br />(Single-Family Residential) District, and amending the Zoning ~,~p of the City of <br />Pleasanton accordingly, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote ~as as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Kephart, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Butler <br /> <br />~pplication of W. R. Grace Development Company to rezone a 1.75 acre site located <br />at 5305 Hopyard Road from the C-F (Freeway Commercial) District to the PUD (Planned <br />Unit Development) District and spe~ffXing' particular commercial uses allowable in <br />the PUD District. The City Council may rezone the property as requested or to any <br />other designation consistent with the General Plan <br /> <br />On the basis of an Initia.~. stU.dy of the potential environmental impacts of the <br />~roj ect, the Director of Planning and Community Development has determined tha~ <br />the proposed project would not have any potential significant adverse effects on <br />the environment and that an environmental impact report need not be prepared. This <br />In~tia! Study is available for review at the Planning Division, ~.00 Ber~al.~y!enue, <br />Pleasanton. Comments on this decision may be directed to either the planning staff <br />pF~pr .to the above meettnB_date,__0.r directly to the city council at the above <br />noticed meeting <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report dated May 15, 1979, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Brandes declared the public hearing open on the application and the <br />negative declaration. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brad Hirst, representing the applicant, stated his client was in complete <br />agreement with the staff and Planning Commission recommendation for approval. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Brandes declared the public hearing <br />closed on the application and the negative declaration. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, <br />that Resolution No. 79-91, determining on the basis of a review of initial en- <br />vironmental study done for this project, that no significant environmental impact <br /> Cit ' <br />would occur as outlined in the y s guidelines and that a Negative Declaration <br />is appropriate to fezone a 1.75 acre site located at 5305 Hopyard Road from the <br />C-F (Freeway Commercial) District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) District, <br />be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Kephart, Mercer, Wood, and ~yor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Butler <br /> <br /> 4. 5/22/79 <br /> <br /> <br />
