It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that <br />Ordinance No. 888, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, <br />to rezone a 1.75 acre site located at 5305 Hopyard Road from the C-F (Freeway Com- <br />mercial) District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) District and amending the <br />Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton accordingly, and that the development plan <br />for the 10,000 sq. ft. commercial building be approved subject to all conditions <br />contained in the 5/9/79 staff report to the Planning Commission, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Kephart, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Butler <br /> <br />Application of Castlewood Enterprises to rezone a 1.56 acre site located on the <br />east side of Sunol Boulevard immediately southerly of Juntpero Street from the <br />nS" (S6~d7) District to the "O" (Office) District. The Cit7 Council maX rezone <br />the property as requested or to any other designation consistent with the <br />General Plan <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report dated May 15, 1979, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Brandes declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> Mr. Ted Fairfield, partner of Castlewood Enterprises, requested approval of <br />the application. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Brandes, declared the public hearing <br />closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that <br />Ordinance No. 889, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, <br />to rezone a 1.56 acre site located on the east side of Sunol Boulevard ~mmediately <br />southerly of Junipero Street from the "S" (Study) District to the "O" (Office) <br />District and amending the Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton accordingly, be <br />introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Kephart, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Butler <br /> <br />Application of Mission Park Investment Company for approval of a planned develop- <br />ment consisting. of a 108 lot residential subdivision containing a 2.4 acre com- <br />mercial area on a 54 acre parcel of land located immediately ea~terlZ of Sunol <br />Boulevard and between Mission Drive and Pico Avenue <br /> <br />An Environmental Impact Report has been prepared for this project and copies are <br />available for review at the Planning DiV~s~0n~ 200 Bernal Avenuet Pleasant0ny and <br />at the Pleasa~toq Li~rarX, 4333 Black Avenue <br /> Mayor Brandes declared the public hearing open on this item and continued to <br />the City Council Meeting of July 10, 1979, 8:00 P.M., Cultural Arts Building, in <br />order to allow a 'General Plan amendment to the Open Space Conservation Element to <br />be heard by Planning Commission and City Council. <br /> <br /> 5. 5/22/79 <br /> <br /> <br />
