It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, <br />that. Resolution No. 79-51, after hearing no objections to the Weed Abatement <br />Program for 1979, authorize the appropriate staff members to proceed with the <br />abatement of the nuisance caused by noxious or dangerous weeds growing on cer- <br />tain properties in the City of Pleasanton as more particularly set forth in <br />Exhibit A to Resolution No. 79-48, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Kephart, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSEh~: Councilman Butler <br /> <br />Application of L & H Land Company for approval of a hillside planned developm.~t <br />consistinS of a ~-!ot, single-family residential subdivision located on a 50 <br />acre site northwesterly of the existing terminus of Longview Drive. The site is <br />zoned HPD (Hillside Planned Development) District. An Environmental Impac~ Re- <br />pprt (EIR) will also be considered <br /> Mayor Brandes declared the public hearing open on the application and the <br />Environmental Impact Report of L & H Land Company. <br /> <br /> Mr. Gil ~ines, Attorney representing L & H Land Company, requested this item <br />be continued to April 24, 1979, for full Council attendance. <br /> <br /> After discussion, Mayor Brandes declared the application of L & H Land Com- <br />pany for approval of a hillside planned development consisting of a 10-lot, single- <br />family residential subdivision located on a 50 acre site northwesterly of the <br />existing terminus of Longview Drive, the site is zoned HPD (Hillside Planned <br />Development) District, and an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) will also be <br />considered, continued open to the City Council meeting of April 24, 1979, 8:00 <br />P.}I., at the Fairgrounds Cafeteria. <br /> <br />Application of the City Council to amend Chapter 2, Titl.e..II of the Or~ip~nCe. Code <br />of the City of Pleasanton by deleting Article 15.5 (H-O~ Historica~ Landmark Over- <br />1~7 District). ~n it.S entirety or amendin~ it in .any wa7 in conformance with the <br />General Plan <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report dated April 4, 1979, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Brandes requested that letters be sent to the members of the Historic <br />Overlay Advisory Committee, thanking them for their participation in this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Brandes declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> Mayor Brandes declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, <br />that Ordinance No. 881, to be read by title only and waiving further reading <br />thereof, to amend Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of <br />Pleasanton by deleting Article 15.5 (H-O, Historical Landmark Overlay District) <br />in its entirety, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Kephart, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br />EOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Butler <br /> <br /> 4. 4/10/79 <br /> <br /> <br />
