He stated the Police <br /> had been called many times by various residents in the area regarding reckless <br /> driving, honking of horns, loud music, drinking, profanity, littering and pro- <br /> perty damage at all hours of the day and night from persons associated with the <br /> house at 496 Adams. Mr. Kelly requested City Council cooperation to alleviate <br /> this unacceptable situation on Adams Way, which was dangerous to the entire <br /> neighborhood as well as children attending Valley View School. <br /> <br /> Police Chief McCloud stated he was not personally.aware of this problem but <br /> he assured Mr. Kelly and Council that his Department would do whatever was neces- <br /> sary to alleviate the problem. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Betty Rider, 4393 ~[irador Drive, stated that Miradot Drive and Adams Way <br />Ct. were used as a race track for dirt bikes and motorcycles and that many did not <br />CC l~a~e mufflers which made the noise problem excessive. She requested Council to <br />~: investigate this matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Bob ~chman, 655 Kottinger, stated that there was excessive speeding in <br /> this area, especially on Friday and Saturday nights, and that he was awakened <br /> frequently by the noise. <br /> <br /> Mr. Gene Matijevich, 477 Adams Way, affirmed the situation in the neighbor- <br /> hood and stated he felt there had been little response from the Police Department <br /> regarding the matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Charles Russell, 483 Adams Way, stated that vehicle and motorcycle traffic <br /> -- from the house at 496 Adams Way was so excessive and dangerous that he could not <br /> allow his children to play in his own front yard. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Pat Crowell, 433 Adams Way, stated that her husband's car had been egged <br /> about two weeks ago by persons at 496 Adams Way. She stated there were always <br /> many young people under the age of 21 years old at this residence. <br /> <br /> Council requested the City Manager and Chief of Police to cooperate with Mr. <br /> Kelly and residents of the neighborhood to solve this undesirable situation as <br /> soon as possible. Council assured the residents that the matter would be re- <br /> solved in a satisfactory manner.
