Council reviewed each category of Article 8, Section 2-7.08(a) Permitted and <br />Conditional Uses in the CN, CC, CS, CF, and CA Districts, and made various <br />changes to the uses as presented by the Director of Planning. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> Joyce Getty, Planning Commissioner, asked if these suggested changes would <br />be reviewed by the Planning Commission. She was advised these would not go back <br />to Planning Commission for review. Mrs. Getty urged further study of the matter <br />before any dicision was made. <br /> <br /> William r~vac, 3124 Weymouth Court, asked Council to consider placing Music <br />Stores as Conditional in the CN District. <br /> <br /> There being no further public testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public <br />hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It wa~moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, <br />that the application of the City Council for an amendment to Section 2-7.08(a) <br />of Article 8, Chapter ~ Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton <br />which would revise comprehensively the schedule of permitted and conditional uses <br />in all of the commercially zoned districts except the CR(M) and CR(P) Districts <br />of the City of Pleasanton, be approved with amendments as determined by Council. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Brandes and Kephart <br />NOES: Councilmen B,,~ Wood and M~yor Mercer <br />ABSEnt: None <br /> <br /> Councilmember Butler stated he could not agree to the changes made tonight <br />by Council on this item. <br /> <br /> After further discussion, it was moved By Councilmember Brandes, and seconded <br />by Councilmember Butler, to reopen the public hearing on the application of the <br />City Council for an amendment to Section 2-7.08(a) of Article 8, Chapter 2, Title <br />II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton which would revise comprehen- <br />sively the schedule of permitted and conditional uses in all of the commercially <br />zoned districts except the CR(M) and CR(P) Districts of the City of Pleasanton, <br />and continue this item to the meeting of January 23, 1979, 8:00 P.M., Fairgrounds <br />Cafeteria. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Brandes, Butler, Kephart, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSEN~T-~: None <br /> <br />M_~TT~S CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> There were no matters continued for decision presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />SPECiAL REPORTS <br /> There were no Special Reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> There were no reports of Boards and Commissions presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY ~NAGER <br />Park and Recreation Commission Appointments <br /> Mr. Brown presented his report dated December 18, 1978, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> 7. 1/9/79 <br /> <br /> <br />
