It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Mayor Mercer, <br />instructing staff to advertise for the expiring positions of Hank Gomez and <br />Jerry Wilfley on the Park and Recreation Commission, with the deadline for <br />resumes to be 5:00 P.M., January 31, 1979, and interviews conducted at the <br />following City Council meeting. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Brandes, Butler, Kephart, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Commissioners Attendance Record <br /> Mr. Brown presented his report dated January 3, 1979, regarding this matter. <br />He stated that due to the illness of Planning Commissioner Jamieson and his <br />absence from the required number of meetings established in the Code, that he <br />would have to be re-appointed to his position on the Planning Commission, <br />effective November 5, 1978, to the end of his term on May 5, 1980. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Mayor Mercer, that <br />Resolution No. 79-7, re-appointing William 3amieson as a member of the Planning <br />Commission, effective November 5, 1978, said term to expire ~y 5, 1980, be <br />adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Brandes, Butler, Kephart, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />~{atters for the Information of the Council <br /> There were no matters for the Information of the Council presented at this <br />meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br /> There were no reports of the City Attorney presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br /> There were no communications presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> Mr. Brown presented the Calendar for the information of the Council. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Mayor Mercer recessed the meeting at 12:15 A.M., to an Executive Session to <br />discuss litigation. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer reconvened the meeting at 12:50 A.M. <br /> <br />ADJOLrK~.IENT <br /> There being no further business at 12:55 A.M., it was moved by Councilmember <br />Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, that the meeting be adjourned to <br />meet again in Regular Session on January 23, 1979, 8:00 P.M., Fairgrounds Cafeteria. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Brandes, Butler, Kephart, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br />CLA~YT~~i BROWN, CITY CLERK 8. 1/9/79 <br /> <br /> <br />
