REPORTS OF THE CITYMANAGER Transfer of Card Room Permit Mr. Walker presented his report dated November 5, 1979, regarding this matter. It was moved by Councilmember Kephart, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, that Resolution No. 79-228, approving the transfer of the cardroom permit of the Pastime Pool, 511 Main Street, held by John and Agnes Shaw to Frank R. Shenave and Jay J. Nelson, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmen Butler, Kephart, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Brandes NOES: None ABSENT: None Possible Extension of RAP Approvals Mr. Harris presented his report dated October 29, 1979, regarding this matter. It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that Resolution No. 79-225, allowing an additional one year time extension for commence- ment of construction on RAP projects approved in the Residential Allocation Program selection of June and November, 1978, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmen Butler, Kephart, l{ercer, Wood, and Mayor Brandes NOES: None ABSENT: None Proposed Projects to be funded with Federal Housing and Community Development Act Funds Mr. Harris presented his report dated October 22, 1979, regarding this matter. Mayor Brandes asked if some of these funds could be allocated for rehabilitation projects. Mr. Harris advised that rehabilitation projects did not receive high priority and any application change at this time could result in a loss of money. Mayor'Brandes requested that emphasis be placed on rehabilitation projects in the future. It was moved by Mayor Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, that Resolution No. 79-226, approving projects to be funded with Federal Housing and Community Development Act Funds as set forth in Staff Report 79:268 dated October 22, 1979, be adopted. ~ The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmen Butler, Kephart, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Brandes NOES: None ABSEnt: None R__esol.ution.R~qUesting a Time Extension from the State for Housing Element Revision Mr. Harris presented his report dated November 7, 1979, regarding this matter. It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Mayor Brandes, that Resolution No. 79-227, requesting an extension of time from the State Office of Planning and Research in order for the City of Pleasanton to complete an update of the Housing Element of the General Plan, be adopted.
