REPORTS OF THE CITYMANAGER <br /> Transfer of Card Room Permit <br /> Mr. Walker presented his report dated November 5, 1979, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Kephart, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, <br /> that Resolution No. 79-228, approving the transfer of the cardroom permit of the <br /> Pastime Pool, 511 Main Street, held by John and Agnes Shaw to Frank R. Shenave and <br /> Jay J. Nelson, be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Butler, Kephart, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Possible Extension of RAP Approvals <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report dated October 29, 1979, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that <br />Resolution No. 79-225, allowing an additional one year time extension for commence- <br />ment of construction on RAP projects approved in the Residential Allocation Program <br />selection of June and November, 1978, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Butler, Kephart, l{ercer, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Proposed Projects to be funded with Federal Housing and Community Development Act <br />Funds <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report dated October 22, 1979, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Brandes asked if some of these funds could be allocated for rehabilitation <br />projects. Mr. Harris advised that rehabilitation projects did not receive high <br />priority and any application change at this time could result in a loss of money. <br />Mayor'Brandes requested that emphasis be placed on rehabilitation projects in the <br />future. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mayor Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, that <br />Resolution No. 79-226, approving projects to be funded with Federal Housing and <br />Community Development Act Funds as set forth in Staff Report 79:268 dated October <br />22, 1979, be adopted. ~ <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Butler, Kephart, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSEnt: None <br /> <br />R__esol.ution.R~qUesting a Time Extension from the State for Housing Element Revision <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report dated November 7, 1979, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Mayor Brandes, that <br />Resolution No. 79-227, requesting an extension of time from the State Office of <br />Planning and Research in order for the City of Pleasanton to complete an update of <br />the Housing Element of the General Plan, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Bu~].er, Kephart, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> 14. 11/13/79 <br /> <br /> <br />
