CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, as amended thereto, be approved: a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 9-11-79 and 9-18-79. b. Proclaim October 22-26, 1979, as Thank a Teacher Week. c. Proclaim October 7-13, 1979, as Crime Prevention/Fire Prevention Week in Pleasanton. d. Adoption of Ordinance No. 908, rezoning to HPD (Hillside Planned Development) Dis- trict the 73 acre site of Joe Boatright and Ray Goodrich located west of Foothill Road and north of Longview Drive. e. Continue the adoption of Ordinance No. 909, rezoning a 9.1 acre site located east of Santa Rita Road approximately 120 feet north of Mohr Avenue from the P (Public and Institutional) District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) District and designating commercial uses as follows: that the northern 3.6 acres of the pro- perty owned by Ms. Myers be utilized for Central Commercial Uses; that the bal- ance of the property owned by Ms. Myers be devoted to Office Uses; and that the 1 acre parcel owned by Drs. Schlies and Clementson be zoned 0 (Office) District and not be part of the Myers PUD, and amending the Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton accordingly (Introduced 9-18-79, 5-Ayes), to be meeting of October 23, 1979, at the request of staff. f. Adoption of Ordinance No. 910, amending in its entirety Section 2-9.29 (Schedule of Off-Street Loading Berth Requirements) and Subsection (h) of Section 2-9.30 (Standards for Off-Street Loading Facilities) of Article 17 (Off Street Loading Facilities), of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton. g. Adoption of Resolution No. 79-178, approving the lease with Robert Nielsen for pasture land adjacent to the Sewage Treatment Plant, extending the lease to October 31, 1980, or until the Sunol Plant is phased-out, whichever occurs first, and that the lease payment be set at the rate of $70 per acre per year. h. Adoption of Resolution No. 79-179, after review of bids, approving award of con- tract for Reconstruction of Santa Rita Road at West Las Positas Boulevard, Project No. 79~12, to Eugene G. Alves Construction Company, Inc., in the amount of $20,354.50, and authorizing execution of the agreement by the appropriate City officials. i. Adoption of Resolution No. 79-180, approving Plans and Specifications and authori- zation to Call for Bids for the Construction of the Handicap Ramp for the Veterans Memorial Building, Project No. 79-13. j. Remove from the agenda - Approval of Plans and Specifications and Authorization to Call for Bids for the Demolition of a portion of Vervais Yard, Project No. 79-14, and send to the Park and Recreation Commission for their review and recom- mendation. k.
