It was moved by Councilmember. Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, that <br />Ordinance No. 909, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, <br />rezoning a 9.1 acre site located east of Santa Rita Road approximately 120 feet <br />north of Mohr Avenue from the P (Public and Institutional) District to PUD (Planned <br />Unit Development) District, designating uses as follows: that the northern 3.6 <br />acres of the property owned by Ms. Myers be utilized for central commercial uses; <br />that the balance of the property owned by Ms. Myers (4.5 acres) be devoted to office <br />uses; and that the 1 acre parcel owned by Drs. Schlies and Clementson be zoned 0 <br />(Office) District and not be part of the Myers PUD, and amending the Zoning Map of <br />the City of Pleasanton accordingly, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Butler, Kephart, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Appeal of McDonalds Corporation of a decision of the Board of Ad3ustment denying <br />an application for a variance for an over-height free-standing sign for the Mc- <br />Donald's Restaurant proposed to be constructed on the 1.6 acre site located at <br />the northeast corner of Santa Rita Road and Pimlico Drive <br /> Mayor Brandes declared the public hearing open on this item and continued to <br />the meeting of October 9, 1979, 8:00 P.M., at the request of the applicant. <br /> <br />Application of the Planning Commission to comprehen~.ively amend Article 17, (Off~ <br />Street Loading Facilitie~)~ of Chapter 2, Title II, Ordinance Code of the City of <br />Pleasanton as it relates to the size~ number~ an~.location of loading berths re- <br />quired <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report dated September 12, 1979, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Brandes declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> Mayor Brandes declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that <br />Ordinance No. 910, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, <br />amending in its entirety Section 2-9.29 (Schedule of Off-Street Loading Berth Re- <br />quirements) and Subsection (h) of Section 2-9.30 (Standards for Off-Street Loading <br />Facilities) of Article 17 (Off Street Loading Facilities), of the Ordinance Code <br />of the City of Pleasanton, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Butler, Kephart, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Mayor Brandes recessed the meeting at 9:30 P.M. <br /> <br /> Mayor Brandes reconvened the meeting at 9:40 P.M. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br />Traffic Study - Valley Avenue and Greenwood Road <br />Mr. Campbell presented his report dated September 12, 1979, regarding this <br />matter, and recommended that no further traffic controls be placed on Valley Avenue. <br /> <br /> 7. 9/18/79 <br /> <br /> <br />
