On the basis of .Initial Study of the potential environmental impacts of the project, <br />the Director of Planning. and Community Development has determined that the proposed <br />project would not have any potential significant adverse effects on the environment <br />and that an environmental impact report need not be prepared. Com- <br />ments on this decision may be directed to either the Planning staff prior to the <br />above meetin5 da~e, or directly to the Ci~X Council at the above noticed meetin8 <br /> Mayor Brandes declared the public hearing open on the application and the Nega- <br />tive Declaration, and continued to the meeting of August 28, 1979, 8:00 P.M., <br />Pleasanton Fairgrounds Cafeteria, to coincide with other amendments to the General <br />Plan Land Use Element. <br /> <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone a 37 acre area located along <br />Stanley Boulevard between Main Street and First Street-Stanley Boulevard roadway. <br />to the R-1-20~000 (Single-Family Residential) District (~enerally .the westernmost <br />17.5 acres) and the C-S (Service Commercial) District .(generally the eastern 19.5 <br />acres) or any other zoning district consistent with the General Plan <br /> <br />On the basis of an Initial Stud~ of the potential environmental impacts of the <br />.pro~ec.t, the Direqtor ~f Plannin~ and Communit~ Development has determined that <br />the propoped project would not hav. e any potential significant adverse effects on <br />the environment and that an environmental impact .report need not be preRared. <br />This Initial Study is available for review at the Planning Divisio.n~ 200 Bernal <br />Avenue, Pleasanton. He stated there would be 25 homes con- <br />structed on this property. Councilmember Butler asked Mr. Fairfield if he would <br />agree to a condition to limit the project to 25 homes. Mr. Fairfield agreed to <br />this condition. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Brandes declared the public hearing <br />closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that <br />Ordinance No. 897, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, <br />to rezone a 6.6-acre site located at the southwest intersection of Valley Avenue <br />and Hansen Drive from the C-N (Neighborhood Commercial) District to the R-1-6500 <br />(Single-Family Residential) District, adding a condition to limit the total number <br />of homes constructed to 25, and amending the Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton <br />accordingly, be introduced. <br /> <br /> 7. 7/10/79 <br /> <br /> <br />
