Application of the City of Pleasanton to rezone a 6.6-acre site located at the southwest .inter~ectioR of Val. ley Avenue and Hansen Drive from the C-N (Neighbor- hood Commercial) District to the R-1-6500 (Single-Family Residential) District or a__n.y other zoning district consistent with the General Plan Mr. I~rris presented his report dated June 29, 1979, regarding this matter. Mayor Brandes declared the public hearing open. Mr. Ted Fairfield, 1811 Santa Rita Road, representing John MacKay, stated his client concurred with the staff report. He stated there would be 25 homes con- structed on this property. Councilmember Butler asked Mr. Fairfield if he would agree to a condition to limit the project to 25 homes. Mr. Fairfield agreed to this condition. No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. There being no further testimony, Mayor Brandes declared the public hearing closed. It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that Ordinance No. 897, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, to rezone a 6.6-acre site located at the southwest intersection of Valley Avenue and Hansen Drive from the C-N (Neighborhood Commercial) District to the R-1-6500 (Single-Family Residential) District, adding a condition to limit the total number of homes constructed to 25, and amending the Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton accordingly, be introduced. 7. 7/10/79
