Fees and Charg. es - Field Use <br /> Ms. Bengtson presented her report (SR 80:324) dated November 7, 1980, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Kephart stated he had concerns regarding the legality of this <br />charge, and also that he felt it is unfair to Pleasanton residents to be charged <br />a fee for use of City fields. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Kephart, and seconded by Council- <br />member Butler, that Resolution No. 80-291, approving fees and charges for field use <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Group I - Sponsored <br /> Pleasanton Department of Recreation and Human Resources <br /> Programs No Charge <br /> <br />9roup III- Sanctioned - Fee Determined by Negotiation <br /> Non-profit services and other community organizations with <br /> open membership whose scope and purpose are recognized <br /> prettily as a service to the citizens of Pleasanton <br /> <br />Group IV - Private <br /> Pleasanton Residents $12 per hour per field, <br /> $50 maximum fee per field <br /> per day <br /> <br /> Non-residents $48 per hour per field <br /> $200 maximum per day per <br /> · > field <br /> This includes organizations and individual activities <br /> of a private nature whose primary service is not <br /> directed toward the general populace of Pleasanton <br /> whether they provide an open membership or not; <br /> <br />and that the Park and Recreation Commission continue to review Group II - Co- <br />Sponsored (In House Play and One on One Play Tournament Play), <br /> <br />be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABS~: None <br /> <br />Recreation Department Solar Heating; Pleasanton Aquatic C~.~.~ <br /> Ms. Bengtson presented her report (SR 80:325) dated November 7, 1980, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Wood asked if staff had attempted to secure a grant to fund this <br />proposed study and project. Ms. Bengtson advised she had checked with PG&E but had <br />not applied for Federal funds. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Council- <br />member Kephart, that this item be continued for thirty days and that staff be <br />directed to apply for government funds to pursue the solar heating study for the <br />Pleasanton Aquatic Center. <br /> <br /> 7. ii/i7/8o <br /> <br /> <br />
