Adoption of Resolution No. 80-283, approving projects to be funded under the Federal Aid Urban System in the City of Pleasanton as follows: (1) FY 80-81 West Las Positas Overcrossing; (2) FY 81-82 West Las Positas Overcrossing; (3) FY 82-83 West Las Positas Overcrossing; (4) FY 83-84 West Las Positas Overcrossing: and (5) FY 84-85 Intersection of Foothill and West Las Positas. f. Adoption of Resolution No. 80-284, approving the authorization to proceed under Purchase Order for the Improvements of Kotting Place-Parking Addition, Project No. 80-9, and issuance of Purchase Order for the work to JWC Construction, Inc., in the amount of $5,000.00. g. Adoption of Resolution No. 80-285, approving the extension of the Valley Volun- teer Bureau's lease agreement for use of the Police Training Building with the term of the extension to be January 1, 1981, through December 31, 1982. h. Adoption of Resolution No. 80-286, approving Claims for the month of October, 1980, in the amount of $845,563.18. i. Fees and Charges - Field Use, moved to item 12f on the agenda. j. Recreation Department Solar Hearing; Pleasanton Aquatic Center, moved to item 12g on the agenda. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer NOES: None ABSENT: None Councilmember Kephart abstained from voting on approval of :the City Council Minutes for 10-28-80, due to his absence from that meeting. RESOLUTION POSTHUMOUSLY HONORING JOHN NcWILLIAMS, .SR. Mayor Mercer read Resolution No. 80-281, posthumously honoring John McWilliams, St., City employee and former Planning Commissioner, City Councilmember, and Mayor. Mayor Mercer requested that a copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Mr. McWilliams and also that one be placed in Century House since Mr. McWilliams was an influential force in the restoration of this historic building. It was moved by Mayor Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that Resolu- tion No. 80-281, posthumously honoring John McWilliams, Sr., be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer NOES: None ABSENT: None MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCILMEMBERS Councilmember Wood requested staff to pursue the possibility of extending BART bus service to the Stoneridge Shopping Center. Mr. Walker advised that staff is currently working on this matter and will continue to do so in an effort to get BART service to the Center. Councilmember Mohr reported on the Emergency Housing Conference in Sacramento on November 13, 1980, sponsored by the State Chamber of Commerce.
