It was moved by <br />Councilmember Mohr that political contributions be limited to $100.00 per indivi- <br />dual and $250.00 by any political action committee. The motion died for lack of a <br />second. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer requested staff to prepare a report and draft ordinance to regu- <br />late dog feces in public parks, as was originally initiated by Councilmember Wood <br />last year, to be reviewed by Council at their meeting of November 17, 1980. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL CO~{ITTEE REPORTS <br /> Councilmembers presented various Committee Reports for the information of the <br />Council. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Butler advised there would be an Emergency Conference on Housing <br />in Sacramento on November 13, 1980, sponsored by the California Foundation for <br />Commerce and Education, which he felt should be artended by a representative of <br />Council and City staff. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer reported on LAVI~R~A and LP~tAmeetings, sewer meetingWith DSRS~, <br />and Park and Recreation Commission meeting. He advised that various reports would <br />be forthcoming from the Park and Recreation Commission relative to lighting of <br />Amador Park, restrooms contract at the Youth Sports Park, and fees for field use. <br /> <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> No one in the audience addressed the Chair. <br /> <br />PUBLIC IlIARINGS <br />Application of Robert E. Frank to rezone from the C-F (Commercial Freeway) District <br />to the C-C (Central Commercial) District the 2.54+ acre site located at the south- <br />east corner of Foothill Road and Stoneridge Drive <br /> <br />On the basis of an Initial Study of the potential environmental impacts of the Prg- <br />ject~ the Director of Planning and Communit~ Development has determined that the <br />proposed project would not have ~ny potential significant adverse effects on the <br />environment and that an environmental impact report need not be prepared. This <br />Initial Study is available for review at the plannin~ Div~siRn~ 200 Bernal Avenue, <br />Pleasanton. Comments on this decision. ~aX be directed to either the Planning <br />staff prior to the above meetip~ date~.or directly to the Ci.ty Council at the <br />above noticed meeting <br /> Mr. Swift presented the report of the Director of Planning and Community Develop- <br />ment (SR 80:315) dated October 21, 1980, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on the application and the negative <br />declaration. <br /> <br /> 3. 10/28/80 <br /> <br /> <br />
