22_1 <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker presented the report of the Director of Public Works dated September <br />30, 1980, regarding the Minutes from the Staff Traffic Committee meeting of Septem- <br />ber 24, 1980. Councilmember Butler stated that item h- Request to review striping <br />plan for northbound Hopyard Road at Black Avenue - was not what he had requested at <br />the previous Council meeting; that he wanted signing to prevent entrance into that <br />lane. After discussion, Mr. Warnick stated that a pavement message would possibly <br />be the best method for traffic control. He stated he would review this matter <br />further and report back to Council. Councilmember Wood stated that in response to <br />item e - The possibility of placing "No Parking" signs on Black Avenue from Hopyard <br />to Harvest north and south sides - he felt there should be "No Parking" signs the <br />entire length of the existing condominium project, and he requested that this be <br />done. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker presented the Information Report of the Chief Building Inspector <br />dated October 9, 1980, regarding The Castle Bar - Notice and Order. Councilmember <br />Kephart inquired about current City inspections in the downtown area, and the pos- <br />sibility of gross violations of health and safety conditions in commercial estab- <br />lishments. City <br /> Mr. Levine presented his report (SR 80:281) dated October , 1980, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that <br />Resolution No. 80-268, denying the claims of Lloyd Anderson v. City; Ted and Maria <br />Nikolaou v. City; and Athanasios Nikolaou v.
