The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer NOES: None ABSENT: None Further Report on Low Cost Housing Exemptions from RAP and Density Bonus Legislation Mayor Mercer declared this item continued to the meeting of October 28, 1980, at the request of staff. Matters for the Information of the Council Mr. Levine presented his report dated October 8, 1980, regarding Morrison Homes v. City of Pleasanton relative to a damaged residence in the Valley Trails subdivision. This suit has been dismissed and there will be no further proceedings filed against the City by Morrison Homes in this matter. Mr. Levine presented his report dated October 8, I980, regarding Regulation of Political Contributions. He advised that the distinction to be drawn is that con- tributions to candidates and ballot measures may be limited, but candidate or com- mittee expenditures may not be. Councilmember Mohr expressed concern regarding the high cost of campaigns. She requested this item be scheduled as an agenda item for further discussion. COMMUNICATIONS There were no Communications presented at this meeting. CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR ~.~r. Walker presented the Calendar for the information of the Council. Mr. Walker advised there will be a Sewer Committee meeting on OCtober 27, 1980, 7:30 P.M. EXECUTIVE SESSION Mayor Mercer recessed the meeting at 10:30 P.M., to an Executive Session to discuss labor relations and pending litigation. Mayor Mercer reconvened the meeting at 11:30 P.M. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business at 11:35 P.M., it was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that the meeting be adjourned to meet again in Regular Session on October 28, 1980, 8:00 P.M., Fairgrounds Cafeteria.
