The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Further Report on Low Cost Housing Exemptions from RAP and Density Bonus Legislation <br /> Mayor Mercer declared this item continued to the meeting of October 28, 1980, <br /> at the request of staff. <br /> <br /> Matters for the Information of the Council <br /> Mr. Levine presented his report dated October 8, 1980, regarding Morrison <br /> Homes v. City of Pleasanton relative to a damaged residence in the Valley Trails <br /> subdivision. This suit has been dismissed and there will be no further proceedings <br /> filed against the City by Morrison Homes in this matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Levine presented his report dated October 8, I980, regarding Regulation of <br /> Political Contributions. He advised that the distinction to be drawn is that con- <br /> tributions to candidates and ballot measures may be limited, but candidate or com- <br /> mittee expenditures may not be. Councilmember Mohr expressed concern regarding <br /> the high cost of campaigns. She requested this item be scheduled as an agenda <br /> item for further discussion. <br /> <br /> COMMUNICATIONS <br /> There were no Communications presented at this meeting. <br /> <br /> CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> ~.~r. Walker presented the Calendar for the information of the Council. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised there will be a Sewer Committee meeting on OCtober 27, 1980, <br /> 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Mayor Mercer recessed the meeting at 10:30 P.M., to an Executive Session to <br /> discuss labor relations and pending litigation. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer reconvened the meeting at 11:30 P.M. <br /> <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 11:35 P.M., it was moved by Councilmember <br /> Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that the meeting be adjourned to meet <br /> again in Regular Session on October 28, 1980, 8:00 P.M., Fairgrounds Cafeteria. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />.//~I~~R.
