271 <br /> <br />Request of Lee Amaral to Process General Plan Amendment at Peters Avenue and St. <br />~ary Street <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report dated September 17, 1980, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer stated that one side of Peters Avenue is already zoned Commercial <br />or Office, and it seems consistent to have the same zoning on the other side. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Butler stated he opposed the portion of the policy statement <br />regarding consideration of impacts of the railroad consolidation on the downtown <br />as he did not feel this was appropriate at this time since consolidation is pro- <br />bably a long ways away. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Council- <br />member Wood, that the request of Lee Amaral to process General Plan Amendment at <br />Peters Avenue and St. Mary Street be held in abeyance until after a final decision <br />has been made on all Land Use Committee recommendations. <br />The roll call Vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Kephart, Mohr, and Wood <br />NOES: Councilmember Butler and Mayor Mercer <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Speed Zonin~ Recommendation - Stanley Boulevard <br /> Mr. Warnick presented his report dated September 17, 1980, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmembe, r Mohr, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that <br />Ordinance No. 943, to lower the Speed Limit on Stanley Boulevard within the City <br />Limits from 45MPH to 40MPH, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Report Re: RAP Policy tha~..Frevents the City from Processing.
