Council appealed the decision of the Design <br />Review Board in approving design review for a bank building proposed to be con- <br />structed at 337 Main Street by the Bank of America, in action taken under Matters <br />Initiated by Councilmembers. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br />Additional Report, Re: Approval of Plans and .Specifications for Soundwall on Stone- <br />ridge Drive~ Assessment District No. 1974-4 . <br />'(Contd.. ~rom 8-12-80) <br /> Mr. Warnick presented his report dated September 17, 1980, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, <br />that Resolution No. 80-244, approving the Plans and Specifications for the Soundwall <br />on Stoneridge Drive as a part of Assessment District No. 1974-4, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br />authorization to Call for Bids on the Soundwall on Stoneridge Drive, be included in <br />Resolution No. 80-244. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Fees and Charges Report.. for Recreation Services <br /> Mr. Walker presented the report of the Director of Recreation and Human Resources <br />dated September 15, 1980, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer explained that this item had been referred to the Park and Recrea- <br />tion Commission on August 12, 1980, at the request of the Pleasanton Men's Lob-ball <br />League for reconsideration of the direct lighting costs for field lights being con- <br />sidered a cost beyond basic field costs and be assumed by the user. Mayor Mercer <br />stated this report does not include the area of field use charges or field light <br />charges and that this issue will be addressed in a later report. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Wood asked about special rates for Senior Citizens. Ms. Bengtson <br />advised that Gold Cards are honored by the Recreation Department for all programs. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Kephart, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that <br />Resolution No. 80-245, approving Recreation fees and charges as presented in Staff <br />Report 80:262 dated September 15, 1980, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> 5. 9/23/80 <br /> <br /> <br />
