Mr. Walker presented the Information Report of the Director of Engineering <br /> Services dated August 5, 1980, transmitting the Minutes of the Staff Traffic <br /> Committee meeting of July 17, 1980. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker presented the City Council Agenda Planning Report for August, <br /> September, and October. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br /> tterita~e Val.ley Zoning <br /> }~yor Mercer dismissed this item from the agenda at the request of staff. <br /> <br />Alternative quart7 Area Reclamation Plan <br /> Mr. Levine presented his report dated August 6, 1980, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, <br />authorizing the City Attorney to prepare a letter to the Alameda County Planning <br />Commission describing the City's concerns and including portions of the gravel <br />traffic Environmental Impact Report as they relate to the impacts which the City <br />desires the County to mitigate as a part of any gravel reclamation plan approval. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Joint Powers A~reement Req!~matiqn Study <br /> Mr. Levine presented his report dated August 6, 1980, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that <br />Resolution No. 80-210, approving a Joint Powers Agency Agreement creating thereby <br />an agency to administer the remaining portions of the reclamation and reuse grant, <br />be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Pr.0.Rgsed Ordinance Regulatin8 Noise <br /> Mr. Levine presented his report dated August 6, 1980, containing the review and <br />recommendation prepared by his Law Clerk John Dantehe, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Kephart stated he was very pleased with the report and would like <br />to see a noise ordinance initiated. <br /> <br /> After discussion, the City Attorney advised he would prepare a modified ordi- <br />nance detailing specific sound intrusions. <br /> <br />AB 2464/2853 - Housin~ Element Guidelines <br /> Mr Levine presented his report dated August 11, 1980, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that <br />the }~yor send a letter to the Senate Local Government Committee regarding objec- <br />tions to AB 2464/2853 - Housing Element Guidelines, as indicated by the League of <br />California Cities. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> 14. 8/12/80 <br /> <br /> <br />
