<br /> It was moved by Mayor Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that an
<br />Environmental Impact Report be required to change the approximately 4 acre Deetz
<br />property located at the north end of Pleasanton Avenue from Medium Density Resi-
<br />dential to High Density Residential, instead of a Negative Declaration.

<br />processing General Plan Amendments as recommended by staff in Staff Report 80:214
<br />with changes as approved above relative to Environmental Impact Reports and Nega-
<br />tive Declarations, and adding a condition that the property at 201 Spring Street be
<br />moved on the list to be heard as soon as possible, be adopted.

<br /> Mr. Walker presented his report dated August 7, 1980, regarding this matter.

<br />timing of the traffic signal at Main Street and Stanley Boulevard be changed, and
<br />that a left-turn lane at Main and St. Marys Streets for northbound traffic, be
<br />installed.

<br /> Mr. Schaumburg presented his report dated August 5, 1980, regarding this matter,
<br />and advising that staff will have a final report with recommendations for the City
<br />Council meeting of August 26, 1980.

<br />Matters for the Information of the Council
<br /> Mr. Walker presented his Information Report dated August 4, 1980, regarding the
<br />November 4, 1980, General Election, stating that August 22, 1980, is the deadline
<br />for County's receipt of City resolution requesting consolidated election, and that
<br />September 2, 1980, is the deadline for County's receipt of measures wording, analysis,
<br />etc.

<br /> Mr. Walker presented the Information Report of the Director of Finance dated
<br />August 4, 1980, regarding cost of picking up leaves by City forces.
