Matters for the Information of.the.COuncil <br /> No matters for the information of the Council were presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br />Parking Regulations on Johnson Drive <br />(Continued fro~..3-25-8.0~ 4-22780~ and 5-..13,80) <br /> Mr. Levine presented his report dated March 20, 1980, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Kephart, and seconded by Mayor <br />Mercer, that there be no parking or standing of all vehicles on Johnson Drive from <br />Tennis Town to the southern most end of Johnson Drive on both sides between the hours <br />of 2:00 a.m. -. 6:00 a.m. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES':' Councilmember Kaphart and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, and Wood <br />ABSENT: None ' <br /> <br /> After further discussion, it Was moved by Mayor Mercer, and seconded by Council- <br />member Kephart, that Resolution No. 80-145, amending Resolution No-. 76-79 (Establish- <br />ing traffic regulations for City streets) by adding Section 13.5 relating to No Park- <br />ing for trucks and/or trailers over 20 feet in length on Johnson Drive from Tennis <br />Town to the-southern most end of Johnson Drive on both sides at any time, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Councilmember Kephart left the meeting at 11:10 P.M. <br /> <br />Report on Condominium Conversions <br /> This item was moved to item 10a on the agenda and discussed under Special Reports. <br /> <br />Denial of Claim - Heinricy <br /> Mr. Levine presented his report dated May 22, 1980, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br />Resolution No. 80-146, denying the Claim against the City by Mildred Heinricy and <br />Joan Belton, and referring the matter to the City Attorney for handling, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Kephart <br /> <br />Report Re: Cancellation of Taxes Resolution <br /> Mr. Levine presented his report dated May 21, 1980, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It ~as moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that <br />Resolution No. 80-147, consenting to the cancellation of uncollected City taxes, <br />penalties and costs based on the consent of the County Legal Advisor, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Kephart <br /> <br />Southern Pacific Transportation Co.~...et alp v...~oun~ of Alameda~ State Board of <br />Equalization~ et a~, No...282416 <br /> Mr. Levine presented his. report dated May 15, 1980, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> 11. 5/27/80 <br /> <br /> <br />
