MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION' AdOption of Ordinance No. 9.31~ amending Section 2-5.35 (Basic Requirements for all Districts) of Article 3~ Chapter .2~ a~d Section 2-3.38 (Subdivision Standards- Requirement~).of Article 7~ ~hapter 1~ including projects that have been built . and/or approved for buildin~ of Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton (Re-introduced 4-22-80~. 3~4yes.~. 2-Absent) Mayor Mercer stated that Ordinance No. 931 had been re-introduced on April 22, 1980, by a vote of 3-Ayes, 2-Absent, and that it was now in order to adopt the ordinance. It was moved by Councilmember Kephart, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that Ordinance No. 931, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, amending Section 2-5.35 (Basic Requirements for all Btstricts) of Article 3, Chapter 2, and Section 2-3.38 (Subdivision Standards~Requirements) of Article 7, Chapter 1, including projects that have been built and/or approved for building, of Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer NOES: None ABSENT: Councilmember Butler SPECIAL REPORTS (Continued) Installation of Automatic Railroad Protection Gates at Bernal Avenue and Western Pacific Railroad Mr. Schaumburg presented his report dated May 5, 1980, regarding this matter. Councilmember Kephart stated he felt the Western Pacific Railroad Company should be requested to pay for this project. Mayor Mercer suggested attempting to get funds for this installation from the Public Utilities Commission if the Western Pacific Railroad Company refused. Council concurred. It was moved by Councilmember Kephart, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that Resolution No. 80-126, approving the installation of autcanatic railroad protection 12. 5/13/80
