The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Butler, Kephart, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Council expressed appreciation to the Pleasanton Cultural Arts Council for <br />their undertaking of this large project for the benefit of the City. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> There were no reports of Boards and Commissions presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITYMANAGER <br />Request of Amador Valley Investors for Modification of RAP Requirements for Tract <br />3148 <br />(Continued from 2-26-80) <br /> Mayor Brandes declared this item continued indefinitely at the request of George <br />Oakes, representing Am~dor Valley Investors. <br /> <br />Alameda County Fair Parade Permit <br /> Mr. Walker presented his report dated March 6, 1980, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Ed Kinney, Parade Chairman for Amador-Livermore Valley Exchange Club, stated <br />he concurred with the staff report and would comply with all conditions set forth <br />therein. <br /> <br /> Mayor Brandes suggested the use of the Marine Corps to assist in traffic direc- <br />tion and parade routing. Mr. Kinney advised that the Exchange Club will provide ' <br />supplemental manpower for the Police Department. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Council- <br />member Butler, that Resolution No. 80-58, approving the parade application by the <br />Ama~dor-Livermore Valley Exchange Club for the Alameda County Fair Parade to be held <br />on June 22, 1980, at noon, subject to all conditions contained in Staff Report SR <br />80:59 dated March 6, 1980, and amending the 1979-80 operating budget by $1,444.00 <br />to cover costs incurred by the City relative to this parade, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Butler, Kephart, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Council thanked the Amador-Livermore Valley Exchange Club for sponsoring this <br />event. <br /> <br />Request from Chamber of Commerce for Assistance in Publishin~ an Industrial Brochure <br /> Mr. Walker presented his report dated March 6, 1980, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Brandes stated it was his understanding that the City would share equally <br />the costs of the brochure with the Chamber of Commerce. <br /> <br /> Mr. Ben Fernandez, 2385 Sandpiper Way, representing the Chamber of Commerce, <br />stated this brochure was different from the one originally proposed. The first <br />brochure was to feature the downtown area, and the latest brochure would be for <br />industrial property information. He presented sample of the proposed brochure and <br />stated there would be on-going costs related tothis brochure which would be Borne <br />by the Chamber of Commerce. He requested the City pay for the initial cost of the <br />brochure, which would be approx4mstely $3,500.00.
