It was accepted as <br />amended. <br /> <br />Matters for the Information of the Council <br /> Mr. Walker presented his report dated February 19, 1980, regarding AI~ernattve <br />BART Rail Routes, for the information of the Council. - <br /> <br /> Mayor Brandes suggested the possible use of Camp Parks as a BART Station and <br />parking lot. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Mercer stated he felt a citizens committee should'be formed to <br />review and recommend various alternatives for BART routes. <br /> <br /> Mr. Harris stated that staff could prepare a report faster than going through <br />the citizens committee method of recommendation.' <br /> <br /> After discussion, Council instructed staff to prepare an in-depth report <br />suggesting various alternative BART rail routes, for review by Council in July <br />or August. <br /> <br />City of Livermore Request to Purchase .5 MGD Industrial (includin~ non-retail <br />commercial) Capacity in the LAVWMA Facilities <br /> Mr. Walker presented his report dated February 22, 1980, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, that <br />Resolution No. 80-45, instructing the Pleasanton representatives on the LAVWMA Board <br />to vote in favor of the City of Livermore's request to purchase .5 MGD Industrial <br />(including non-retail commercial) capacity in the LAVWMA facilities, be adopted. <br />The roll .call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Butler, Kephart, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> 14. 2/26/80 <br /> <br /> <br />
