After review of the list of persons recommended for consideration by the Chamber <br /> of Commerce dated January 17, 1980, it was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded <br /> by Councilmember Mercer, that Roger Manning and Larry Osborne be selected from this <br /> list for appointment on the Land Use/Circulation Element Review Committee. <br /> The'roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Butler, Kephart, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Councilmembers made their individual appointments to the Land Use/Circulation <br /> Element Review Committee as follows: <br /> <br /> Councilmember Butler Earl Augusta; Ted Fairfield <br /> Councilmember Kephart Joseph Madden; Frank Damerval <br /> Councilmember Wood Gene Pons; Sue Scott <br /> Councilmember Mercer Joseph Sitzmann; Art Dunkley <br /> Mayor Brandes Howard Garrigan; Jack Kendall <br /> <br /> It was Moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, that <br /> Resolution No. 80-20, appointing the following persons to the Land Use/Circulation <br /> Element Review Committee: <br /> <br /> Ken Geppert, Chairman <br /> Yvan Albert <br /> Earl Augusta <br /> Frank Damerval <br /> Art Dunkley <br /> Ted Fairfield <br /> Howard Garrigan <br /> Joyce Getty <br /> Jack Keegan <br /> Jack Kendall <br /> Sharon Kosch <br /> Joseph Madden <br /> Roger Manning <br /> Larry Osborne <br /> Gene Ports <br /> Sue .Scott <br /> Joseph Sitzmann <br /> <br />be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Butler, Kephart, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Council reiterated the importance of completing the Land Use/Circulation Element <br />report by the headline date of July 1, 1980. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Mercer stated he had met with Assemblyman Mori and Jeff Rupp of <br />the State Department of Transportation, in Sacramento, regarding the West Las Positas <br />Overcrossing and the possibility of it receiving funding in the 1981-82 Program as <br />originally scheduled. Mr. Rupp advised that this would be done. Councilmember <br />Mercer requested City staff to communicate with Mr. Lammers of CALTRANS to deter- <br />mine what the City needs to do in conjunction with the State to move ahead as quickly <br />as possible.
