339 <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised that in the work process the engineers would prepare a <br />petition for approval by the developers. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Kephart, and seconded by Mayor Mercer, that <br />Resolution No. 81-79, authorizing the following studies related to the North <br />Pleasanton Area proposed developments be prepared: (1) Fiscal Impact Study - <br />contract with Diametrics to prepare and run a CRIS computer model for the City <br />at a cost not to exceed $20,000; and (2) Engineering Study - enter an agreement <br />with Mark Thomas and Company, Inc., to work as engineer of work on assessment <br />district or districts to finance the mitigation projects required in the North <br />Pleasanton Area at a cost not to exceed $25,000, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br /> <br />Amador Livermore Valley Exchange Club 1981 Fair Parade Permit Application <br /> Mr. Walker presented the report of the Assistant to the City Manager (SR 8t:85) <br />dated March 17, 1981, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Kephart, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br />Resolution No. 81-80, approving the Amador Livermore Valley Exchange Club 1981 Fair <br />Parade Permit Application subject to meeting all police and fire conditions; and <br />amending the 1980-81 operating budget by $1,451.00 to cover costs incurred by the <br />City; said parade date being noon-2:00 p.m., June 28, 1981, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br /> <br />City of Pleasanton Recreation. D~par~ent Heritage Run Permit Application <br /> Mr. Walker presented the report of the Assistant to the City Manager (SR 81:89) <br />dated March 17, 1981, regarding· this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, that <br />Resolution No. 81-81, approvtng the City of Pleasanton Recreation Department Heri- <br />tage Run Permit Application subject to approval from other agencies involved; that <br />conditions cited by the Police Department be met; and amending the 1981-82 operating <br />budget by $175.00 to cover costs incurred by the City; said Heritage Run date being <br />9:00 a.m., September 13, 1981, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br /> <br />Discussion Re: Northbluff Project <br /> Mr. Walker presented a letter and report from Lee Hornet, City Manager of the <br />City of Livermore, requesting the City of Pleasanton to review the Northbluff Pro- <br />ject and to take a position on this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mayor Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, that <br />Resolution No. 81-82, supporting the City of Livermorets position in opposition <br />to the Northbluff Project, be adopted. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Kephart advised he would be voting against this motion because <br />he felt discrete sewer plants had been proven reliable and, therefore, there would <br />not be my threat to the Valley because of this proposed project. <br /> <br /> 12. 3124181 <br /> <br /> <br />
