Applications have been submitted for
1981-82, which possibly would allow three grade separations in Pleasanton to be 90%
funded by the State P.U.C., with or without the consolidation of the two tracks.
No action was required or taken by Council on this item; it being an information
item only.

Priority Plan for Park Development for Application of Proposition I Money
Mrs. Bengtson presented her report (SR 81:39) dated February 3, 1981, regarding
this matter, and stated that the Park and Recreation Commission favors the comple-
tion of Amador Community Park with the allocated Proposition I money.

Mayor Mercer stated he felt the front of the Youth Sports Park should be com-
pleted, as this park is located at the entrance to the City and should be attractive.
He stated that with the construction of the stop light facilities, and other improve-
merits to the park, that improvements to the front of the park should be completed
also. He added he felt Amador Park is functional as it is now.

Councilmember Mohr stated she strongly supports completion of the Amador Com-
munity Park because it is used by a much broader range of people as opposed to the
Youth Sports Park and its sports activities only.

After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by council-
member Butler, that Resolution No. 81-41, approving that the completion of Amador
Community Park as the project to be submitted for Proposition I funding, be adopted.
The roll call vote was as follows:
AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, and Wood
NOES: Councilmember Kephart, and Mayor Mercer
AB SENT: None

Matters for the Information of the Council
Mr. Walker presented the Information Report (IR 81:05) of the Director of Public
Works and Utilities dated January 27, 1981, transmitting the Minutes from the Staff
Traffic Committee meeting of January 21, 1981.

Mr. Walker presented the Information Report (IR 81:06) of the Fire Chief dated
February 2, 1981, regarding the Komandorski Village Burn Exercise conducted on
January 22, 1981.

Adjustments to LAVWMA Fixed Cost Percentages and Flows
Mr. Walker presented his report (SR 81:48) dated February 6, 1981, regarding
this matter.

19. 2/10/81
