Mr. Preston Hill, Attorney representing Mr. Travasso, stated that Mr. Travasso <br /> needs help to get back in business and urged Council to grant his appeal or amend <br /> the ordinance so that Mr. Travasso could reapply for a card room permit. He added <br /> that he expected the building code problems to be cleared up soon. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Kephart, and seconded by Council- <br /> member Butler, that Resolution No. 81-38, after making the findings that Mr. Travasso's <br /> card room permit was not valid at the time of Council's introduction of the Card Room <br /> Ordinance on December 9, 1980, and that the Police Chief properly refused the appli- <br /> cation for a card room permit at 537 Main Street, deny the appeal from the decision <br />C) of the Police Chief regarding card room permit application made by Wallace F.
