It was moved by Councilmember Kephart, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br />Ordinance No. 957, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, <br />approving the application of the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton to <br />zone a portion of the recently annexed property included in Annexation No. 78 con- <br />sisting of approximately 127 acres located east of the extension of Valley Avenue <br />between Bernal Avenue and the Arroyo Del Valle to the R-1-6500, R-1-7500, R-1-8500, <br />R-l-10,000, R-I-20,000 and the Public and Institutional District or any other zoning <br />district consistent with the General Plan, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br /> <br />MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> There were no matters continued for decision presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />SPECIAL REPORTS <br /> There were no Special Reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> There were no reports of Boards and Commissions presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE C~Ty MANAGER <br />Report on Request for Annexation - Five Acres East of Hacienda Mobile Home Park <br /> Mr. Warnick presented his report (SR 81:04) dated January 7, 1981, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker presented a letter from William A. Hirst, Attorney, dated January 13, <br />1981, agreeing with staff conclusions exceptlas to the recommendation regarding the <br />Pico Avenue/Stanley Boulevard connection, stating that~traffic generated by the pro-' <br />posed land use will be so low as to preclude the need for further traffic circulation <br />improvements. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Kephart, and seconded by Council- <br />member Mohr, to initiate annexation proceedings on a five acre parcel on the north <br />side of Vineyard Avenue Just easterly of the Hacienda Mobile Home Park. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br /> <br />Matters for the Information of the Council <br />Mr. Walker presented Information Report 80:01 of the Director of Public Works and <br />Utilities, dated January 2, 1981, transmitting the Minutes from the Staff Traffic <br />Committee meeting of December 17, 1981. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker presented the City Council Agenda Planning Report for January, February, <br />and March. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker presented the attendance record of the Planning Commission for the <br />period of July/December, 1980. <br /> <br /> Mrl Walker presented the attendance record of the Park and Recreation Commission <br />and the Human Services Commission for the period of July/December, 1980; <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker presented the Information Report 80:03 of the Director of Planning and <br />Community Development, dated January 7, 1981, relative to the Draft Housing Element <br /> <br /> 7. 1/13/81 <br /> <br /> <br />
