255 <br /> <br /> Mr. Robert Harmon, Attorney representing the applicant, stated he concurred with <br />the staff report. <br /> <br /> Mr. Dennis Hammett, 2367 Oakland Avenue, stated that after reviewing the proposed <br />development he has no objections to this application. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed <br />on the application and the negative declaration. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br />Resolution No. 81-388, determining on the basis of a review of initial environmental <br />study done for this project, that no significant environmental impact would occur as <br />outlined in the City'sguidelines and that a mitigated negative declaration is appro- <br />priate for a general-plan amendment to change the land use designation of a 29+ acre <br />site located on Santa Rita Road and bounded by Trenery Drive on the south, Oakland <br />Avenue on the east, and the Arroyo Mocho Canal on the north, from Medium Density <br />Residential to High Density Residential, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, that <br />Resolution No. 81-389, approving the application of Sidney Corrie, Jr., for a general <br />plan amendment to change the land use designation of a 29~ acre site located on Santa <br />Rita Road and bounded by Trenery Drive on the south, Oakland Avenue on the east, and <br />the Arroyo Mocho Canal on the north, from Medium Density Residential to High Density <br />Residential, subject to conditions set forth in staff report SR 81:393, but deleting <br />Condition No. 4 regarding entering into an assessment district for traffic impacts, <br />be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Application of Stoneson Associates for a general plan amendme~.t t.o cha~ge the land <br />use desiBnation of an approximately 6.6 acre site located on Stonedale Drivet between <br />stoneridM. e Drive on the north and 1-680 on the east from Freeway Interchange and Open <br />Space (Public Health and Safety) to HiS~h Densits Residential or to an7 other land use <br />designation found appropriate by the City <br /> <br />On the basis of an Initial Study of the potential environmental impacts of the pro- <br />Ject, the Director of Plannin8 and Communit~ Development has determined that the <br />proposed project would not have any potential significant adverse effects on the <br />environment and that an environmental imp.a.ct~report need not be pr.epa~ed. This <br />Initial Study is available for review at the Plannin~ Division~ 200 Bernal Avenue', <br />Pleasanton..-Comments on this decision may be directed to either the Planning staff <br />prior to the abdve meetin~.~at~ or directly to th.~ City Council at the above noticed <br />meetin~ <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 81:395) dated November 3, 1981, regarding this <br />matter.
