Mr. Dennis Hammett, 2367 Oakland Avenue, stated that after reviewing the proposed development he has no objections to this application. No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed on the application and the negative declaration. It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that Resolution No. 81-388, determining on the basis of a review of initial environmental study done for this project, that no significant environmental impact would occur as outlined in the City'sguidelines and that a mitigated negative declaration is appro- priate for a general-plan amendment to change the land use designation of a 29+ acre site located on Santa Rita Road and bounded by Trenery Drive on the south, Oakland Avenue on the east, and the Arroyo Mocho Canal on the north, from Medium Density Residential to High Density Residential, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer NOES: None ABSENT: None It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, that Resolution No. 81-389, approving the application of Sidney Corrie, Jr., for a general plan amendment to change the land use designation of a 29~ acre site located on Santa Rita Road and bounded by Trenery Drive on the south, Oakland Avenue on the east, and the Arroyo Mocho Canal on the north, from Medium Density Residential to High Density Residential, subject to conditions set forth in staff report SR 81:393, but deleting Condition No. 4 regarding entering into an assessment district for traffic impacts, be adopted.
