Mr. Bras rebutted by stated he felt this is a good project and will help to <br />clear up some of the traffic and drainage problems. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed <br />on the application and the negative declaration. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Mayor <br />Mercer, that Resolution No. 81-386, determining on the basis of a review of initial <br />environmental study done for this project, that no significant environmental impact <br />would occur as outlined in the Ctty's guidelines and that a negative declaration is <br />appropriate because of the small size of the parcel, for a general plan amendment to <br />change the land use designation of a 10,500 sq. ft. lot located on the south side of <br />Happy Valley Road, bounded by the Southern Pacific Railroad Tracks on the east and <br />Sunol Boulevard on the west from Open Sapce to Office, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmember~ Butler,.
