1984-85 (lOth year~ <br /> Kottinger Place Improvements $ 20,000. <br /> <br /> Housing rehabilitation in the target area .,200~000. <br /> TOTAL $713,327. <br /> <br /> be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br />Mutual Benefit District and the reimbursement. agreement with the C~tZ of Pleasanton <br />for the outfall sewer line that has been installed from Stanley Boulevard to Jensen <br />Sewer Pump Station <br /> Mr. Warnick presented his report (SK 81:317) dated September 16, 1981, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> Mr. Alan Campbell, representing Mr. Auf der Maur, concurred with the staff <br />report. <br /> <br /> Mr. Richard Irby, owner of 10 acres in the Mutual Benefit District, expressed <br />opposition to being included in this agreement. He asked about costs that might <br />be incurred. Staff advised that he would not be required to pay any fees until <br />such time as he connected to the sewer line. <br /> <br /> Mr. Richard Dividett, representing Peter Kiewit and Sons, owners of 49 acres <br />included in the District, stated this firm is currently on Holding Tank service <br />for 30 employees. He asked if this firm would be forced into immediate hookup to <br />the line. Staff advised that a condition of the Holding Tank Agreement is that <br />a firm or resident must hookup as soon as sewer is available, but that Council can <br />determine if a Holding Tank Agreement may be continued and for how long a term. <br /> <br /> Mr. Kenneth Best, owner of 25 acres, asked if sewer capacity is guaranteed. <br />Staff advised there is sewer capacity available now on a first-come, first-serve <br />basis but no guarantee of how long it will be available. <br /> <br /> Mr. Joe Madden, 3851 Vineyard Avenue, stated that Mr. Auf der Maur is to be <br />commended for the installation of these improvements, and those who benefit should <br />be required to pay their fair share. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing <br />closed on this item. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br />Resolution No. 81-323, approving the Mutual Benefit District and the reimbursement <br />agreement with the City of Pleasanton for the outfall sewer line that has been <br />installed from Stanley Boulevard to Jensen Sewer Pump Station, and authorizing the <br />appropriate City officials to execute the agreement, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br /> <br /> 5. 9/29/81 <br /> <br /> <br />
