Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on the application and the negative declaration. Mr. Barney Knox, representing Morrison Homes, stated he is in agreement with the staff report. Mr. Bill Hirst, 147 Berne1 Avenue, Attorney representing Utility Vault Company, stated his client was neither in favor of or opposed to the application, but was concerned that prospective buyers should be made aware of this industrial area adjacent to the proposed development. He presented a written communication dated September 8, 1981, describing the use of Utility Vault Company, and requesting that the developer be required to provide a report or handout reflecting this industrial use for the information of prospective purchasers so there will not be any problems later on relative to this matter.
